The capital’s biggest event is the traditional Day of Restoration of Independence concert on Harjumägi, starting at 14:00. Performers include Anett and Valter Soosalu, accompanied by the Tallinn Police Orchestra. The event takes place on August 20 and is free for everyone.

Kristiine Concert in Räägu Park – August 16 at 14:00.

Põhjala Factory celebration – August 19–20, music and a program for all visitors.

Mustamäe Concert at Kaja Cultural Center – August 20 at 09:00.

Culture and history

History enthusiasts can attend a special Vabamu Museum program at Toompea at 10:00, recalling the restoration of Estonia’s independence.
Maarjamäe Family Day begins at 11:00, and the TV Tower Family Day starts at 12:00 – both offering activities for children and adults alike.

Communal singing and dancing

Music lovers are invited to the Freedom Park concert and communal singing, featuring Kalle Sepp & The Purple Gang (starting at 14:00). There will also be an additional concert by Anett & Valter Soosalu.
